Topaze was a destroyer in the Flotte de Volée .
History[]
The Topaze was modified from others in her class: the rear turret was omitted, and two hatches, each ten meters wide and eight meters high, were installed in the after part of the ship. Rolling mounts suggested the possibility of retractable gangways.[1]
